Description

Looking for somewhere to get some luck for St. Patricks Day? Well, you're in luck as you can you can get your Irish Lucky Helm bracelet here with us. It will help you keep from getting pinched, although we can't guarantee it will definitely bring you good luck, or bad luck either, so don't get upset if it does or doesn't we made note of this.

Materials Information:

What is anodized aluminum? The aluminum alloy used is 95% aluminum and 5% magnesium; this creates a ring that is approx. 2/3rds the strength of steel but 1/3rd the weight. Anodizing is a process that adds a hard finish to the ring that gives it its color. The finish is corrosion resistant and can stand up to most damage without flaking, cutting or grinding on the ring with another hard metal surface (grooved pliers, scissors, etc.…) and acids like chlorine will cause damage. Combined this means you have rings that are light, strong and resistant to most forms of common wear and tear. Cleaning should be handled with water and non-acidic soap. These rings are hypoallergenic.

The Helm Weave is also called Parallel Chain and is what is known as a captive weave. A captive chain maille weave refers to the fact that some of the rings do not actually thread through other rings but instead are trapped between other rings. Parallel Chain is a simple but charming weave that is the basis for several kinds of circle patterns used to make pendants.

Other Information:

Try not to wear your jewelry if you are going to be working out sweating too much, going into the ocean, when taking a shower or bath, or doing the dishes. Sometimes we forget to rinse off our jewelry after these activities or to let them air dry or dry thoroughly which can start to do extra damage over time.

Please remember that since this is a handcrafted item there can be some small tool marks (scuffs) on the piece, please remember this when purchasing. Any ring with obvious damage is not used; however, I endeavor to prevent any scuffs and marring.

If you would like to know more about the gemstones, rings, and items that are used in making handmade items like this, Irish Lucky Helm Bracelet; please look at the Material Description Page and my Chain Maille Descriptions page.
